J, first words upon waking from his nap today:

--Cookies. Fortune cookies. You want fortune cookies.

--You want fortune cookies? We don't have any fortune cookies.

--Go store get fortune cookies.

--The store doesn't have fortune cookies.

--No.

--You have to go to the Chinese restaurant for fortune cookies. They give them to you when you order Chinese food.

--Go Chinese restaurant, get fortune cookies. Chinese (?) lady, fortune cookies.

--So we should get Chinese tonight?

--Yeah.
